A new property owner or tenant should contact us to put service in their name before you select a stop service date. If we are not contacted by the new property owner or tenant, we will disconnect natural gas service and lock the meter. If temperatures are below freezing, water pipes may freeze, resulting in property damage for which we will not be responsible. If the future owner or tenant is known, be sure the property is winterized to avoid potential property damage.
